Please join Katie Elevitch at Garner Arts Center this weekend for the launch of the first public installment of the Women's Storytelling Project, a year-long collaborative, community-based, and interactive series of Workshops, Circles, Events and Multi-Media Exhibitions. directed, and conceived of, by artist, musician, educator, curator and owner of 95 1/2 Main, Katie Elevitch.
The Women's Storytelling Project is supported in part by a Rockland County DEC Community Arts Grant via ArtsWestchester/NYSCA. Additional sponsors include 95 1/2 MAIN, The Nerdy Duo Productions, RiverRiver Writer's Circle and Donations from the Community.

This special Nyack Art Collective hosted multi-media arts and community event will help benefit the Rockland County Pride Center.
Katie has proudly been a lead organizer for this benefit event and coordinated the music and entertainment, which begins at 5PM in the Main Street Gazebo and continues until 1am at Casa del Sol. Prepare to be inspired, moved, have fun, celebrate and support Rockland County's LGBT and arts communities.
Since 2013, Katie has performed her original blend of soulful folk/rock/jazz live music for yoga classes, including a monthly residency at Sacred Sounds Yoga in NYC. She is excited to play for Nyack Yoga studio owner Laura Kallen's Vinyasa Class at this weekly Happy Hour Yoga series. She will also be previewing some live and recorded tracks from her forthcoming Yoga Album, Brilliance and Light.

Come celebrate with Katie, the yoga, dance and art communities as she releases her first full length album in over 7 years. Her new album, Brilliance and Light, was written after her very powerful healing yoga teacher training in 2011. She is thrilled to share this sonic document of her journey toward the light, truth, and deep mind-body transformation.
